Iran: Women are barred from entering gov’t offices in Nahavand on hijab pretexts

Nahavand Governor Imam-Ali Abdolmalaki said on June 29th in the Nahavand Public Culture Council, “With a bill passed by this council, from now on women with improper hijab will not be allowed into government offices. Government entities must prevent these individuals from entering the building or else the administrative manager will be held accountable.” (Asr-e Iran daily – July 2, 2014)
