Special guards of the Zahedan Central Prison attacked defenseless prisoners in this facility on Wednesday, destroying or plundering the inmates’ personal properties.
This attack by Khamenei’s agents was launched at 6:30 am against political and ordinary prisoners in wards 5 and 7 of Zahedan Central Prison. The inmates were first pulled out of their cells, stripped naked and inspected in insulting manner. They were than taken to the ward’s courtyard. This raid was commanded by the warden of this prisoner by the name of Khosravi.
Political prisoner Iraj Mohammadi protested these vicious measures by the prison guards, and he was severely beaten in response. This raid continued for three hours.
