Iran: Urumieh Prison inmate hanged after passing away

Regime authorities in the city of Urumieh in northwestern Iran hanged a man even after he passed away.
A Kurd inmate accused of buying and selling narcotics, held in Darya Prison of Urumieh, suffered a heart attack and passed away while being taken for execution, Kordpa news agency reported.
Naghad Ali Rajaie of Urumieh is the identity of this prisoner who was executed on Tuesday this week along with 9 other Kurd and Turk inmates.
One of his family members in Urumieh confirmed this report and said: “This inmate had his arms and legs chained while being taken for execution, and while being transferred he suffered tension and went into a heart attack, and finally passed away.
However, the death of Naghad Ali did not prevent government officials from refusing to carry out his execution.
The body of this Kurd inmate was handed over to his family two days ago and laid to rest.
