The suicide rate amongst young women in Iran is increasing. During the past few days a young woman who is identified as Chavari Gh. committed suicide and lost her life. She was 21-years old and hanged herself. Furthermore, a 24-year old woman with the initial S.V. also committed suicide. Poverty and lacking the most basic daily needs are considered the reasons behind these suicides.
