The city of Urumieh witnessed two series of strikes and protests by workers on Saturday, March 12th.
Deprived workers demanding their delayed paychecks. These workers had launched their strike from the day before. The director of their project is a municipality official and is refusing to pay the workers their deserved paychecks.
Another rally in this city was held outside the municipality building protesting new heavy taxes and old taxes increasing in comparison to the past.
