In an act of defiance by popular Resistance cells in Iran, two young activists riding their bikes approached a Basij militant who was distributing government supported dailies among followers of the Supreme Leader, Khamenei in a Friday prayer sermon demanding an end to their suppressive propaganda. But when the Basij militant refused to observe their demand and started to shout for help, the two activists battered him and left the scene before other Basij agents could come to arrest them.
His papers and posters were scattered around on the floor bringing joy to ordinary people on the street.
