On the morning of Thursday, March 10th, owners of textile stores in Tehran’s bazaar went on strike and began protesting according to a prescheduled arrangement. These storeowners went on strike due to intense recession in this bazaar on the verge of the Iranian calendar New Year (March 20th), all due to high taxes and inadequate services in the bazaar.

Municipality workers of area 12 in Tehran rallied on Thursday, March 10th in the bazaar protesting the conditions of their jobs. This rally was held in the area 12 municipality center.
