Mansour Haghighat Pour, deputy chair of Iran’s Parliament Security Commission, expressed his outrage over the recent European Parliament resolution on Iran
“This resolution is a serious interference in Iran’s internal affairs and Catherine Ashton should never even think of returning to Iran,” he said.
“Iran must reconsider preventing the transfer of narcotics to Europe in order to make European governments understand we mean business,” Haghighat Pour added.
It is worth noting that the European Parliament issued a resolution calling on the EU to condition all its relations to the mullahs’ regime addressing the issue of human rights violations and respecting women’s rights.
Head of Iran’s Parliament Security Commission rejected any opening of an EU office in Iran. Aladdin Burujerdi lashed out at Ashton and said, “With Ashton’s unforgivable mistake in her trip to Tehran, there are no grounds to open an EU office in Iran.”
