Following the sudden and suspicious death of political prisoner, Shahrokh Zamani, the judicial, security and prison guards raided the ward where Mr. Zamani was pronounced dead this morning. Zamani’s cellmates clashed with the guards accusing them of killing him under torture.
Based on reports received from inside prison, the situation is tense and other political prisoners refuse to return to their cells.
