Iran: Tehran railway workers hold gathering outside parliament

A group of Tehran railway workers on Monday, March 3rd, held a gathering outside the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) protesting and demanding their stolen salaries.
These railway workers, all having an average of 25 years of work experience, are protesting the fact that after their transfer to the Aghmari Company, their salaries and pensions have been reduced to one third of what it was last year, and they are facing serious problems for their retirement, and the retirement fund will not allow them to even make ends meet.
These workers, transferred to a contracting railway firm back in 2002, are demanding a return to their previous contracts with the main railway company or the Ministry of Road and Construction.
