Iran takes actions against two student bloggers for teaching to make smoke bombs

NCRI, 17 Jan 2013 – Iran’s Cyberpolice (FATA) has identified two student bloggers in southern city of Bushehr who allegedly have been involved in “teaching” to make “smoke bombs,” the website of the force reported on Wednesday (January 16, 2013).
The report said that the experts at the Cyberpolice have found the blog is being managed from two locations and actions in this regard have begun.
Iran’s Cyber Police knows as FATA, the acronym for its name in Persian, was officially launched on 23 January 2011 with IRGC Brigadier General Kamal Hadianfar as the head of the new force.
According to a report by Agence France-Presse, at the time Iran’s State Security Forces (police force) chief Ahmadi-Moqaddam said “the cyber police would take on anti-revolutionary and dissident groups who used Internet-based social networks in 2009 to trigger protests” during the Iranian regime’s presidential elections 2009.
