Following a call for rallies in support of Lake Urumieh in various cities, on Tuesday, June 10th, a group of people, especially the youth, in the city of Tabriz demonstrated near the college campus, chanting anti-government slogans.
The demonstrators clashed with special anti-riot units that attacked the protesters. Reports indicate the state agents arrested 20 of the demonstrators.
Based on reports posted on the Internet in two cities the mullahs’ repressive agents had enforced an unannounced curfew and having numerous forces stationed on the streets.
