The Iranian regime’s public prosecutor Mohseni Eje’i announced yesterday at a press conference the number of suspects arrested over the recent $3 billion embezzlement scandal has reached 42.
This scandal is threatening the very foundations of the Iranian regime, with members of various factions – including those loyal to Khamenei and others in Ahmadinejad’s ring – attacking each other every day through various security and political measures.
“During the past three days, aside from the 22 individuals arrested before, 20 other individuals were summoned and temporary arrest warrants have been issued for them,” Mohseni Eje’i added
