Due to the lack of hygiene conditions and no sterile methods used in an Iran hospital in the city of Sari has left 17 patients who have undergone surgery in this area facing the threat of going blind due to eye infections.
The state-run ISNA news agency wrote, “More than 17 individuals who underwent cataract surgery, which is considered a very simple surgery, had gone to a hospital in Sari and a few days after the surgery they are faced with infected eyes in a way that 17 patients have lost their vision.”
