About 150 contract workers of Ahwaz subway system continued their strike for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday staging a protest outside the central headquarters of the city construction projects.
According to Iran’s official news agency ILNA other labors who work for the same project, but in different section also went on strike. They were protesting against 4 months unpaid wages and salaries. ILNA added that some 100 night shift workers of Ahwaz subway system joined this strike.
It is reported that these striking workers have been threatened by at least two executive managers of being sacked if they continue with the strike.
