
NCRI – In recent days, students of various universities across the country have been protesting against the reactionary and repressive policies of the Iranian regime in universities and the deteriorating student guild conditions.
Also, a group of Tehran’s Meli University (aka Beheshti University) students gathered on Sunday and protested the poor quality of food in the university.
In Zanjan (northwestern Iran) the students gathered in the campus of Zanjan University on Sunday protesting the clergy-made reactionary plan of gender segregation. They chanted slogans against the mullahs’ gender segregation plan, saying they will not accept such a humiliation.
The students of Zanjan University also gathered on October 4th protesting the installation of a wall between the girls and boys buffet, and gender separation of bus services and the university’s technical and engineering schools libraries.
Students of Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, and the universities of Shahrekord (in Iranian Kurdistan) and Yazd (central Iran) were among the university students who last week protested the students’ terrible guild and welfare conditions.
