Truck drivers and employees of Rafie Company in Bandar-Abbas went on strike on Wednesday Nov. 19th to protest unpaid insurance premium and delays in their salary. The company police was called in to put down the protest and strike, but faced a stiff resistance from the protesters. Clashes erupted and finally the company security had to back away and the strikers continued with their protest.
