Iran, Isfahan, March 10, 2018 – Demonstrators in the city of Varzaneh, a suberb of Esfahan in Central Iran, issued a statement reiterating that they will continue their rally until they obtain their rights. “Death to those who dried up the beautiful Zayandeh Rood (river) Isfahan with their poor management,” the statement said. The demonstrators chanted: “We demand to have our irrigation ration, and we stand ready to give our lives to get it.”
