A young porter whose name has been announced as Maddah Partuie in the city of Mariwan, western Iran, was killed when armed state forces opened fire at him. Reports say that Partuie was unarmed when the guards attacked him.
Most of these individuals are very poor and only resort to such dangerous work to make ends meet for their families.
