Iran shops and boutiques’ owners protest the annoying inspectors

A number of suppressive inspectors started wide ranging inspections of boutiques and women clothing shops on Thursday under the order of the Ministry of Guidance. The raid-like inspections were carried out by police and other suppressive Security forces.
After entering each shop or boutique, the agents would harass and question the owners about the model of clothing being within the boundaries of the mullahs’ dress code.
But clashes erupted when the Guidance Ministry inspectors decided to confiscate some of the clothes and remove them from the shops.
The agents who feared the limited and isolated protest get out of hand and turn in to a wide spread protest backed off from their demand and decided to only send the shop-keepers summoned papers to appear in the court to answer the accusation of selling clothing not being aligned with the mullahs self-imposed dress codes or selling foreign made woman’s dresses.
