Iran, March 28, 2018 – Workers at the Hafttappeh sugar cane factory in southwestern Iran started their second day of strike by gathering outside the company premises on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Workers from all sectors of the factory shut down all activities yesterday, in protest to huge and repeated delays in the payment of their salaries. The workers started marching towards the main city market chanting “We are Hafttappeh workers, we are hungry, hungry.”
