Despite wide international and internal objection, the anti-human, misogynist regime in Iran hanged Reyhaneh Jabbari, a 26-year old woman in Gohardasht prison at dawn today.
Reyhaneh was accused of killing an agent of the infamous intelligence ministry who had tried to assault her when she was only 19 years old. She was sentenced to death, according to the Amnesty International, “during a flawed trial that leaves huge questions hanging over the case.”
Amnesty International issued a press release last night calling on the regime to halt the execution.
