INTV, 6 Oct 2013 – Residents of the city of Arak in central Iran staged their 16th rally on Saturday in the city’s National Park Square protesting high air pollution. This gathering was staged despite the heavy presence of repressive security forces.
Demonstrators also held placards written: ‘People of Arak want to breath’ and ‘Arak is the cancer capital of Tehran’.
