At 1830 Tehran time and at Jomhouri Cross section central Tehran, dozens of youths and other residents clashed with the SSF who were trying to arrest a couple of the young passersby.
Tehran:
Feast of Fire celebration in Roodaki and Navab districts in Tehran with the loud sound of fire cracker explosions.
Karaj:
At 1820 local time people and vendors clashed with the state security forces. The security forces are trying to disperse the crowd, but the people ignore and resist the harassment.
Residents of Karaj protested against the police forces trying to break up any gatherings.
At 1830 the people who had gathered to hold the Fire Festival ceremony clashed with the security forces. Eyewitnesses say that the security police is trying to prevent a large gathering.
Mashhad:
The Special forces have been stationed around the city warning the people to avoid celebrating the occasion and go back to their homes. They are stationed at Mellat Park, downtown and other major Boulevards and cross sections.
Isfahan:
At 1700 hour Isfahan time, a group of young people gathered at Enghelab (Revolution) Sq. and cracked fire crackers and squibs to honor the Feast of Fire celebration. Enghelab Sq. is one of the busiest area of the city and there are lots of activity going on there. The Suppressive State Security forces have been trying to prevent the formation of any gatherings.
