The elections headquarters in Iran is resorting to all means possible to have more people turnout and cloak the embarrassing boycott. The Interior Ministry has recently said there is no need to provide identification documents with pictures.
In its 20th statement to all voting stations, “There is no need for a voter’s ID card to have pictures. Those having IDs without any pictures can also take part in the elections.”
