The Iranian regime continues to deprive vital necessities for East Azerbaijan quake victims, the state-run Asr-e Iran daily reported.
“People in the winter cold of the Azerbaijan mountainous terrain continue to live in tents,” the daily wrote.
“Neither they, nor their livestock – which is their only valuable property – have any shelter from the cold or the upcoming winter snow. Does the Red Crescent, considering its enormity, truly lack medical trailers? Or other organs such as the Ministry of Road and Construction and the Home Bonyad (Foundation) truly cannot provide such trailers?” the daily asked.
“What is interesting is that they are calling on the people (!) to send trailers to the earthquake victims in any way possible. Are trailers like blankets, clothes, mineral water and cash that people can send more or less to the quake victims, or is it like blood in their veins to donate?! Where are the people supposed to come up with trailers?!” Asr-e Iran wrote, referring to the Iranian regime officials’ obscene requests.
