Babol protest gathering: a number of residents of Babol, northern Iran, gathered on Tuesday Nov. 11th to protest government officials’ bribery and embezzlement, especially by municipal officials. The rally took place in front of the city hall and people chanted anti-government slogans.

Khorram-Abad: people and youth clashed with the suppressive state security forces during a demonstration after they tore up fine bills. The demonstration and consecutive clash happened on Monday last week, but it was reported yesterday. The youth, many of them sportsmen and martial art students, were stopped and harassed on their way to a sports’ club by the State Security forces. The security police was writing them fine bills. But the youth tore those papers and throw it at their faces which resulted in a clash. But apparently they left the scene without unharmed.
