IRAN,  7/10/2017—   Demonstration by dozens of ransacked shareholders of the government owned Caspian Financial Institution gathered outside the city courthouse in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, demanding their money to be reimbursed. They chanted slogans against the government of President Rouhani and the Supreme Leader. They also said that the country’s state-run television stations are behind and in favor of the “government affiliated thieves.”
Police and suppressive State Security Forces, SSF, attacked and clashed with the protesters, especially women, tearing up their clothes. The women chanted “our disgraceful police.”

In the capital city Tehran on Sunday, July 9th, dozens of the plundered shareholders of Padideh Financial Co. expressed their anger and frustration against the company’s inaction and poor management. They prevented Arikeh Restaurant, owned by the Padideh, from doing business and actually closing its’ doors.

In Ahwaz, southern Iran, ransacked shareholders of Thamen Financial Institution, another company owned by the government affiliated businessmen, demonstrated in front of the company’s branches demanding their money to be reimbursed.

In the City of Khorram-Abad, western Iran, city employees working in District 1 demonstrated on Monday July 10th against unpaid salaries and wages. They gathered on Bahman-22 Square expressing their frustration for not getting their money back.

Mehran: more than 400 employees of Azar Oil Field gathered on Monday July 10 to protest unpaid wages. This protest continued on Tuesday. The demonstrators said they haven’t been paid any wages and benefits for past 3 month.

Rafsanjan: Residents of the city of Eslam-Abad on Monday July 10 protested against water shortage. They brought long wooden and metal poles to close the road leading to the city.

In the city of Yasooj, Southwestern Iran: A group of residents gathered on Saturday July 9 in front of the office of the Water and Sewage CEO protesting the lack of water for past 3days. The protesters, whom exceeded a hundred people, were mostly the breadwinners of their families from different district of the city. They demanded government officials to go and live in their districts at least for a couple of days to feel the problem of water shortage.
