Iran: Protesting youth crackdown in Tehran, protest rallies in southern Iran

Group of Tehran residents protested crackdown measures by State Security Forces against the youth
On Thursday, June 18 in Tehran a group of people began protesting after witnessing the arrest and beating a number of youths by repressive State Security Forces.
State agents had raided a number of stores under the pretext fighting drug addiction. They arrested a number of youths, wounding one and raising major protests by local storeowners.

 

 

Contract workers stage protest rally in Kashan, southern Iran
On Thursday, June 18 a group of contract workers belonging to the Kashan municipality rallied outside the regime’s governorate office. They protested not receiving their paychecks for 3 months. The protesters first rallied outside the municipality office but when they saw it closed they transferred their demonstration outside the governorate building.
