Iran: protest sit-in by hundreds of Iranian university students

Reports from Iran show that hundreds of students from the college of agriculture at Saravan University, Southeastern Iran have demonstrated against illegal entry of an armed guard in to the girls’ dormitory. The students staged a strike sit-in inside the campus and also in front of the local governorate in the city of Saravan.
The students that numbered more than 400 gathered in center of campus on Saturday, Feb. 27th while holding posters and placards against this immoral and illegal entry by an armed male guard.
The students demanded to have security inside dorms, especially female dormitories. The students then begun their rally starting from the campus towards the governorate in the city center and held their demonstration in front of the governor’s office.
