Employees of “Haft-tappeh” surge cane factory in Ahwaz, southern Iran gathered in front of the local governor’s office on Monday Dec. 1st to protest unpaid salaries and wages.
One of the employees said that they were promised to be paid two month prior to this gathering and were told that there are no problems as far as the payments are concerned.  But not only haven’t we received anything, the company authorities have totally forgotten our grievances and in addition we were told to stay off this premises or else things would go wrong for us.
