A group of women of Sar-dasht, western Iran gathered on Tuesday, May 19th in front of the provincial office protesting the clerical regime’s push to cover up the reason behind the tragic death of Farinaz Khosrawani. Participant at this gathering expressed their anger and abhorrence at the clerical regime’s agent of the ministry of intelligence who was the cause of this unfortunate death. They also condemned the mullahs’ misogynistic policies which is only to suppress and crackdown on any freedom loving voice.
Farinaz Khosrawani, a 26-year-old woman jumped out of the window of the fourth floor of the hotel she used to work to protect her honor getting in danger of being abused by an intelligence ministry agent who had attempted to abuse her.
Following this tragic death, thousands of the people of Mahabad protested against this heinous crime setting fire to the hotel and burning government properties.
