
Reports and photographs uploaded on the internet from the Iranian Capital City, Tehran shows a large number of city bus drivers gathered in protest in front of the city hall at 10 o’clock local time (0630 GMT). This protest happens at the same time as more than 4000 people and pensioners have gathered in front of the parliament. The city bus drivers also demanding their rights and wages, as well as job security.


These gathering happens despite the heavy presence of security and riot police. The police and security forces had been called on in advance to prevent the gathering from taking shape.
Demonstrators chanted: “Oh dear God, please uproot this tyranny and oppression”
