Iran, Ahwaz, March 18, 2018 – 1) Dozens of National Steel Group workers demonstrated in front of the governor’s office in Ahwaz. They chanted, “We won’t leave until we get our legitimate rights” and “Workers are ready to die but not be humiliated.”
2) In another part of the country, Fariab, the suburb of Kerman, wheat farmers rallied and continued their strike for the second day in a row protesting to the distribution of low-quality wheat seed.
3) Also in Zahedan, eastern Iran, the high court approved the death sentence for 8 prisoners. These prisoners have served 6 years in prison and were all awaiting their death sentence to be carried out.
