Iran: Protest activities on rise

Khorram-Abad: Students of Technical University gathered Monday 10 Nov. to protest the distribution of expired food items. Students threw their food on the ground.
According to another count, other students from the same university clashed with the school’s security police. University police tried to segregate students based on their gender, but faced a stiff resistance from their opponents and eventually had to back down fearing this resistance could expand to other parts of university and beyond.


Ahwaz: Employees of a corn dehydrating factory in Ahwaz went on strike on Tuesday Nov. 11th to protest their unpaid wages and salaries.
