Iran: Possibility of an imminent execution of a youth who was 15 years old at the time of the alleged crime

Iran, April, 4, 2018 – The life of a juvenile prisoner is in an imminent danger, according to his lawyer.

Mohammad Agha Khani said my client, Mohammad Kalhor will probably be executed any day and called on the regime to halt this unjust hanging.

Mohammad Kalhor is a Boroujerdi student who was arrested on December 1, 2014, when he was only 15 years old.

It is noteworthy that in 2017, at least five child offenders were executed in Iran’s prisons. Also in January this year, at least three child offenders were executed in various prisons in Iran.
