The clerical regime transferred a group of political prisoners from the Urumiyeh Central Prison after they sought help from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran. These detainees were transferred to the prison’s office of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security on Sunday, where they were interrogated and tortured for 4 hours.
In other news, the anti-human clerical regime convicted two other political prisoners to execution and 13 years imprisonment. The prisoners were named Behrooz Alekhani and Akbar Akbarpoor who were detained last year by intelligence agents in Urumiyeh. They were charged with ‘moharebeh’ – enmity against god.
