Iran: political prisoners stage riots in Evin Prison

Seven political prisoners detained in ward 350 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison refused to meet with their family members who had come for visits, in a sign of protest towards the mullahs’ regime and protesting the prison authorities’ refusal to provide medical care and exiling political prisoners. The protesting political prisoners also expressed their solidarity with Dervish hunger striking.
The names of the seven political prisoners are: Gholam Reza Khosravi, Asghar Ghatan, Assadollah Hadi, Reza Akbari Monfared, Abolghasem Fouladvand, Ali Salanpour and Mostafa Abdi.
It is worth noting that Gholamreza Khosravi is on his fifth day of hunger strike in solidarity with the Dervish hunger strikers.
