Iran: political prisoner says he should not return to prison

Political prisoner Hossein Ronaghi Malaki, a known blogger and human rights activist, wrote in a recent note that based on the law and due to his physical conditions he must not be returned to prison. However, the Tehran prosecutor office insists on this matter and he has also been threatened.
Malaki added his intestinal illness continues to bother him to this day and physicians have recently noticed he is currently suffering blood problems and various other damages in both of his lungs.
This political prisoner was arrested back in 2009 in East Azerbaijan Province and sentenced to 15 years behind bars. In July 2012, after enduring jail time for 32 months and going on strike many times, he was finally allowed a leave from prison based on a 10 billion rial bail (now worth around $287,000). However, he was arrested once again while trying to provide support to the poor earthquake stricken people of Iran’s Azeribaijan regions.
