Iran: Political prisoner on the verge of execution

Iranian regime intends to execute 1980’s political prison Gholam Reza Khosravi, who was once again arrested 5 years ago, according to a report by the Harana News Agency. Reports indicate that Nassirpoor, Evin Prison’s executioner, has summoned Gholam Reza Khosravi and announced the death sentence to him, stating that the sentence will carry out on September 10.
Gholam Reza Khosravi, who was first arrested in 1981 at the age of 16 for supporting the PMOI and spent 5 years behind bars, was once again arrested in 2007 for supporting Iranian National TV and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. However, the Iranian regime’s henchmen increased his sentence another 3 years.
Coincident with the 2009 uprisings in Iran, henchman Pirabbassi forged a new case for Mr. Khosravi and accused him of Moharbeh (enmity against God) and sentenced him to execution.
