Political prisoner Mohammad Ali Taheri, currently detained in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, has entered the 2nd week of his hunger strike. He launched this hunger strike on Thursday, August 13th protesting the death sentence issued by Iran’s so-called judiciary.
Simultaneously a group of this political prisoner’s supporters rallied in the city of Qom, central Iran and demanded this sentence to be revoked. On Wednesday, August 19th the Iranian regime’s repressive agents attacked this gathering and harassed the protesters.
