Iran: political prisoner Foad Rezazadeh marks 7th day of hunger strike

Political prisoner Foad Rezazadeh has been on hunger strike since last Tuesday, protesting prison authorities preventing him from taking part in his own father’s burial ceremony.
Due to the pressures imposed by the Iranian regime’s security forces, this Sunni political prisoner intended to leave Iran back in 2012. He was arrested in the process and sentenced to six years behind bars after spending 40 days under physical and psychological torture in Urmia intelligence prison.
Rezazadeh had prior to this spent 18 months in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran.
