NCRI, 12 Jan 2013 – The health of Mr. Assadollah Hadi, a political prisoner held in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, is in danger. He has recently undergone open heart surgery
Previously, a great deal of pressure was exerted on him and prison officials punished him by cancelling all his visits. He was also pressured for refusing to wear prison uniform. Reports indicate Evin officials were not allowing him to be transferred to a hospital. But subsequent to worsening his heart condition, he was finally transferred to a hospital for surgery.
His is currently in critical conditions.
