During the past few weeks nearly every week a number of Baluchi political prisoners in Zahedan Prison have been transferred to the Zahedan Intelligence Bureau where agents threatened them with execution and other psychological and physical pressures in order to gain their cooperation with the government.
In the latest such examples, on Sunday, August 31st, death row political prisoner Javad Abadian, 22, was transferred to the Zahedan Intelligence Bureau. This prisoner, his father, Malak Mohammad Abadian, and his brothers are all on death row and detained in Zahedan Central Prison.
The names of these Baluchi political prisoners, some on death row, who have been summoned to the Zahedan Intelligence Bureau during the past few weeks are:
