Political prisoner Reza Shahabi entered his 50th day of his hunger strike on Sunday, July 20th, and is currently held in a hospital in Tehran. He is suffering from intestinal bleeding and physicians believe he cannot undergo surgery in such conditions.
This member of the Tehran bus drivers syndicate is on hunger strike protesting his transfer to Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran.
