Iran: pol prisoner Arjhang Davoudi transferred to Evin solitary confinement

Political prisoner Arjhang Davoudi, who was recently transferred from Bandar Abbas to Tehran and Evin Prison’s ward 8 allocated to foreign prisoners, was again taken on Saturday, May 3rd, to ward 240 and solitary confinement for refusing to appear in court.
This old political prisoners has always been deprived of any kind leave during his time behind bars. From the middle of last year he was taken from ward 12 in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran, to solitary confinement in ward 209 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, and after 127 days in solitary confinement he was exiled to Bandar Abbas Prison in the south.
Arjhang Davoudi, whose ten year sentence has been over, has to this been sentenced to 20 years and 8 months in prison for various bogus charges.
