Iran: Padideh Shandiz Project victims stage a protest rally in Tehran +photos

Victims of a fraudulent mega construction project called ’Padideh Shandiz’ gathered again today in front of the country’s interior ministry in Tehran to protest against the deceptive project that left thousands of Iranian people brock. The protesters in this demonstration that is continuing even as this report is being prepared, are chanting anti-government slogans. The demonstration of dozens of these victims started at 1030 local Tehran time on Monday, January 4, 2016 in front of the main gate of Rouhani’s interior ministry in Fatemi’s street and is continuing, according to the PMOI website.
Demonstrators call for eradication of cruelty, injustice and tyranny in Iran. They also chant “all we heard were lies” referring to the government’s bogus and baseless promises.
They were carrying placards that says “Mashhad’s governor disaster and plague for the people.”
This protest rally was called for in advance by activists on a number of social media.
