The state-run IRNA news agency in Iran reported on Friday, June 26 that over 400 Revolutionary Guards forces and Afghan foot soldiers hired by Tehran have been killed in Syria. All of these individuals have been buried in Iran, the report added.
This news agency, covering a report on the funeral ceremony held for five Afghan foot soldiers hired by the Quds Force and killed by Free Syrian Army forces in Syria, wrote to this day over 400 such people have been buried across Iran. This state-run source also referred to the burial of official IRGC members being buried after being killed in Syria.
