In a new report on the 1988 massacre of political prisoners, in Tuesday’s session of the Majlis (Iran parliament) where Rouhani’s science minister was sacked, MP Mohammad Hassan Asafari expressed concern over the PMOI’s influence in Iranian universities and revealing the shocking crime of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners ordered by Khomeini.
“Some of the measures and incidents that have taken place during the past year in the universities have been based on documentaries, and the spreading of PMOI statements at nights in the universities… one example is sentences that were sent to 400 professors which goes as this: I now understand the exiting of trucks full of bodies of 18,19 year olds from Evin Prison in 1988 cannot be described in anyway other than a crime, and seeing the trucks full of bodies many years ago with my own eyes, which they described as necessary for the revolution, I was a complete blind.”
