On reports regarding labor protests, in an attempt to cement a climate of fear and bring an end to these protests regime officials arrested seven more workers in Kerman’s copper mine. Despite all these measures and threats the fed-up workers are continuing their assemblies and blocking the road leading to the company.

In Urumieh, a group of cement factory workers rallied and protested a decision made by factory officials of expelling a number of workers. This rally was held on Sunday, July 12th.
